Blocksquare and tx Explore Partnership to Expand Distribution and Utility for Tokenized Real Estate
Blocksquare and TX have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore a strategic collaboration connecting real estate tokenization infrastructure with new marketplace, settlement and distribution opportunities.

The proposed collaboration brings together Blocksquare’s property tokenization ecosystem and Oceanpoint with tx’s Layer-1 blockchain, built for financial applications and real-world assets.
The shared focus is practical: helping tokenized properties reach more eligible investors and exploring how those assets can operate across a broader financial ecosystem.
The partnership framework covers three main areas:
-
Technology and settlement: Exploring integration with the tx blockchain and evaluating USTX, tx’s native stablecoin, as a potential settlement asset within Oceanpoint and Blocksquare’s product suite.
-
Marketplace distribution: Exploring the listing of Blocksquare property tokens (BSPT) on the tx marketplace, including potential access through US investor and accredited distribution channels, subject to applicable requirements.
-
Ecosystem development: Connecting prospective issuers, tokenization clients and relevant market participants across both networks.
For Blocksquare, the collaboration supports a broader ambition: making tokenized real estate more useful by connecting property-backed assets with infrastructure for distribution, transactions and secondary-market participation.
“Property tokenization needs to connect with the infrastructure that helps investors access, transact and participate in these assets over time. Our discussions with tx focus on building those connections, exploring new distribution channels and extending the opportunities available to property owners and marketplace operators in our ecosystem,” said Denis Petrovcic, CEO of Blocksquare.
“Real estate is an important part of the opportunity for tokenized assets. By exploring this collaboration with Blocksquare, we see the potential to connect its property tokenization ecosystem with tx’s infrastructure and marketplace, helping issuers reach eligible investors through the appropriate distribution channels,” said Mike McCluskey, CEO of tx.
Tokenization creates the digital representation. Its practical value grows when investors and issuers have more ways to access and use it.
The proposed collaboration remains at the evaluation stage. Technical integrations, asset listings and commercial arrangements are subject to further assessment, applicable regulatory requirements and definitive agreements.
