Marketplace Platform (v1.3.0)

(Released, December 11, 2024)

We’re preparing a major upgrade for the Marketplace Platform, marking a shift to a better wallet connection framework. Here’s what to expect:

Migration to Wagmi Wallet Connector:

We’re moving away from the Web3-React framework to adopt Wagmi for wallet connectivity. Why this matters:

  • Better Maintenance: Wagmi is actively maintained and up-to-date with the latest Ethereum wallet providers.

  • Improved Compatibility: Gnosis Safe wallet operations should now work as expected via WalletConnect, even without direct Gnosis Safe integration.

This change is expected to make wallet interactions smoother, more reliable, and future-proof.

Admin Panel v2.11.0

(Released November 28, 2024)

The Admin Panel received a significant upgrade, focusing on enhanced property management, better filtering options, and new referral tracking. Here’s the rundown:

  • Airdrop Requests: Added a dedicated airdrop request feature in the property editor.

  • Privacy Toggle: Introduced a visibility switch in the property editor for better privacy control.

  • Enhanced Filtering:

    • Additional filters for the properties table.
    • New filter options for notifications by type.

  • Referral and Interest Views:

    • New referrals management view to track and manage referrals.
    • Expressed interests view for better engagement tracking.

  • Search Engine Visibility Fix: Resolved an issue affecting public search engine visibility for the Admin Panel.

  • Transaction Editor Fixes: Corrected bugs in the transaction editor for smoother operations, including revert, cancel, and confirm actions.

System Admin v1.13.0

(Released November 11, 2024)

This update focuses on usability improvements and added flexibility in managing properties and tokens. Here’s what’s new:

  • Restored Accounts Filter Layout: The filter layout for accounts is back to its original design, improving familiarity and usability.

  • Featured Image Fix: Resolved an issue where featured images could be deleted unintentionally.

  • Property Visibility Control: You can now toggle the visibility of properties directly from the system admin interface.

  • Custom Token Prefix: Added an option to modify token prefixes for each CP wallet.

  • Smart Symbol Suggestions: Implemented logic to suggest symbols based on token prefixes and existing properties, streamlining property setup.

Marketplace Platform - Complete UI Redesign

We’re giving the Marketplace Platform a total makeover! The redesigned interface will be modern, user-friendly, and optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences. Stay tuned for updates as we move closer to delivering prototypes.

A brand-new ReactJS application is in the works for Oceanpoint. The updated dApp will feature a sleek design and improved functionality, enhancing how users interact with the platform. Both desktop and mobile prototypes are well underway.

Building on recent updates, we’re adding capabilities to the Admin Panel to support:

  • Creating new offerings
  • Tokenization management

These updates aim to make managing properties and assets even simpler.

The System Admin dashboard will soon include features to:

  • Approve new offerings
  • Approve tokenizations

This will streamline the workflow for administrators managing property listings and tokenization requests.

Offering Contract v2

We’re in the ideation phase for Offering Contract v2, which aims to provide a more flexible and efficient way to structure and manage fixed-price offerings.

POINT Token Implementation

The multi-phase rollout of the POINT token is progressing steadily:

  • Phase I: Scheduled for February 2025, focusing on foundational implementation and simulation testing.
  • Phase II & III: Currently in ideation, with future phases building on Phase I to expand functionality and integration.

L2 Development

Layer 2 development remains on our roadmap, though it has been postponed for now as we focus on other priorities.
